Colette's Grand Detour

For the next month I will be travelling through Chile and Argentina. First stop is Santiago, Chile, followed by a trip to the coast to visit Valparaiso. Then we will be jumping on a plane to head to Easter Island and then back to the mainland to spend some time in the Atacama desert of northern Chile.

Next we will be heading south to Patagonia, first exploring southern Chile, making stops in Punta Arenas and Torres del Paine before crossing the border into Argentina to visit El Calafate and Tierra del Fuego. The final week of this epic adventure will take us to Iguazu Falls and Buenos Aires.

Both Chile and Argentina are huge and we will be covering a lot of miles over the next 28 days, with lots of flights booked to jump between places and make the most of our time in South America. I can’t wait!
