Colette's Grand Detour

My Kenya trip will run from 27th July through to 5th August when we cross the border into Tanzania. For the first 2 days I will be based in Nairobi and have booked 2 half-day tours – one to visit the Karen Blixen museum, Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Conservation Centre and one to have a city tour of Nairobi. I will then meet the G Adventures group I will be travelling with for the next 2 weeks on the evening of 29th July and we will head out of town and start our adventure around Kenya hitting all the highlights – Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and the big one – the Masai Mara. I’ve had Kenya on my travel list ever since I did a safari in Botswana about 8 years ago and I’m so excited to explore!
